We have been working together since 1986 and bought our first restaurant, Anago Bistro in 1992. We received great reviews and accolades from all of the different critics including the Boston Globe, Bon Appetit, Money Magazine, Food and Wine, The Herald, the Improper Bostonian. We stayed in Cambridge for 5 years and then moved into the Lenox Hotel in Downtown Boston. We became Anago, we dropped the Bistro from our name and entered into the Boston dining scene a a “real” restaurant. Once again we were very successful and received great press and awards. In 2001 our daughter, Sophia was born and our life transitioned. We sold our Boston restaurant and moved to the cape full time in 2002. That year, we helped Graham Silliman to open Siena at Mashpee Commons.. In 2004, Bob was ready to become an owner again, and the Tavern became available. We bought it and opened on St Patty’s day 2005. The rest is history!
